Around Here

The days are a mix of emotion. I feel like I go through all of them on any given day, which can be pretty exhausting. If you follow along with me on Instagram you get a first hand look at the good days and then the next bad day. I am doing my best to bring happy, joyful & peaceful moments into my days and into our days.  I have been doing my best to plan activities and keep busy, it helps remind me that there is much to be grateful for. Some day are just harder than others.
I found that fabulous "I love my Papa" shirt at Old Navy online.
The weather has been so warm and that makes for the perfect snowman.
Anna & I made Christmas snow globes one evening and it was a big hit.

Micheal, who does our snow removal & the neighbour build a snow hill for the kids (and adults) in our complex. It is pretty fabulous... and fast! We all squeal the whole way down!

I attended a Pinterest party and made a bunch of fabulous Christmas crafts, ate a lot of dips loaded with cheese and laughed with good friends. It was so wonderful.

We went to the Festival of Lights at the Valley Zoo. The weather was amazing, the lights were beautiful, the animals were the most active I have ever seen and the fire dancers were mesmerising.

Anna & I worked the Ugly Sweater crop at Treasured Memories. She stayed until Cory could come get her, I am lucky she loves it there. She crafted, decorated cookies, ate a million marshmallows, played in the photo booth and won all the ladies over with her smile.

Cory's company has a Christmas party for the kids every year. This year we went to Monster Golf and of course the big guy came to hand out presents. I may or may not know the Santa personally. ;)

Anna got to ask Santa for a microphone.
It's all she's asked for, let's hope the one that is on it's way arrives soon.
