This class is inspired by Ali Edwards' December Daily, the album has 25 pages, plus many other little touches to capture and record all of the activities that happen leading up to the Christmas holiday.

A Class: Christmas Cards with Simple Stories

There is no hiding it, I love Simple Stories, I love traditional Christmas colours and I love reindeer. Those few things right there are why I love these cards. 

This is another card class that I will be teaching at Treasured Memories. This one is on a Wednesday evening and that means class participants will have the store all to themselves as regular hours are only until 5:30pm. I love Kaiser Crafts, especially at the holidays! Their papers are always so pretty and the muted colours were perfect for these cards. I teach this class at Treasured Memories on a Monday evening and the store will remain open for class participants only. drinking coffee & creating cards

That is what I have been up to, drinking lots of coffee and making cards. Halloween cards, birthday cards and Christmas cards. The Christmas ones are getting a little easier to work with now that the weather is getting cool. It's hard to be inspired for Christmas when the sun is shining and we want to be outside. I am not too sure what I would do if I lived in a warmer climate. 

This is my next card class at Treasured Memories. The pattern papers are Echo Park and the ornaments are cut with a Spellbinders' die cut- totally in love with these!

Here is my first of many Christmas Card classes, I used My Mind's Eye Christmas line, All is Bright for my class. I will be honest when I say I struggled a bit making these cards, it definitely doesn't feel like Christmas and getting into a groove was tough. I got a little advice from a sweet friend to listen to Christmas music so I turned on Kenny & Dolly holiday classics and that seemed to do the trick.
I will say that I love love love these papers and in the end I just love these cards. Come hang out with me and get an early start on the holidays- only 12 weeks until the big day. I will also have kits available for those unable to come to class. There are only 15 spots/kits available and Christmas kits go fast, call Treasured Memories at 780-414-1540 to get on the list.

This is a mini book that I created and will be teaching at Treasured Memories next Saturday. I made it using pattern papers and various 3x4 & 4x6 paper elements from Simple Stories, tags, envelopes & my custom sewn embellishments and diy washi tape. I even pulled out my black photo corners and they look fabulous! (say fabulous in a sing songy voice) ;-)

There are also kits available but between class and kits there are a limited number available. Kits come with detailed instructions & photos. You can call Treasured Memories at 780-414-1540 to sign up. 

I love this book, I really do. I rarely create minis which is odd because  LOVE them so I am pretty excited about this book! Maybe I will have to make more... for me and maybe for you. 

My next one will be for a Christmas class-  my 25 Days of Christmas mini book inspired by the ever fabulous Ali Edwards. psst...you can call the store to reserve your spot/kit and then I'll call you to collect the mula when the demo is complete... oh and I teach my first Christmas card class on October 11! Crazy right!

Treasured Memories is having a 3 day event from June 22-24 that features classes created by each of us that work there. There is a layout, a mini album, a canvas, a metal and a hanging mobile class. Oh and don't forget me, I'll be teaching the above card class. My class is on Saturday evening and I was super excited to see that a group of fabulous ladies had already signed up for class spots and for kits. As usual I am doing both class and kits for these cards but I'd love to see you so sign up before the spots are all gone!
There is also cropping time each day that is allotted for event participants. You can sign up for all the classes or just one- it's totally up to you! Call the store at 780-414-1540. I hope to see you there!

How Gentlemanly

Inspired by romance, whimsy and all things girlie I created February's card class. I have used pattern papers from various companies but you'd never know they weren't designed to be together. I love the pretty colors, the delicate pattern, the soft touches added by butterflies and hearts. Join me and create these 6 cards, class participants will receive a bonus Valentine inspired card design to create that night to deliver out into the world.
