It's only August, the weather is hot, the sun is delicious and before I know it Christmas product starts arriving in the store. For me that means one thing... get my butt in gear for creating holiday classes. It means sitting outside in the sun dreaming of my holiday and sketching card designs. 

I have my first Christmas class of 2016 coming up at Treasured Memories and I'm excited to get people started on their holiday creating. You can follow the link above to sign up for a class spot of for a take home kit.

No new info here- I love My Mind's Eye and their paper collections. This line- On Trend 2 is Gorgeous! The gold foil has my heart and I could use it all day!

Back at it! A New Card Class

I am excited to share with you my first card class in 4 months. I struggled with whether or not I would come back to teaching. I couldn't quite put my finger on my feelings but I just let myself have those feeling and not worry about it too much. The new My Mind's Eye paper lines came into the store and I knew I wanted to create with it... so here we are. Inspired by the gold foil I created these 6 cards and will be teaching it on Saturday, March 21. You can head on over to the Treasured Memories blog to see the details.

If you can't come to class and hang out with me you can pick up a take home kit. Call the store at 780-414-1540 for either a class spot or kit.

It has been a few weeks since I have shared a card here and I chose to share this one from the set I created for my class on July 28 at Treasured Memories. I love all the wood grain and the simplicity of the design. There are 6 cards total and they available in either the class on Monday night or in class kit form. Make a Wish: New Card Class

Have I mentioned how much I love gold before? Maybe just once, so here it is again... I Freakin' LOVE gold? Have I mentioned how much I love My Mind's Eye? Yup, probably a thousand times. What's one more? I Freakin' LOVE MME! I fee like they "get me"! Gold foil on paper and vellum = dreamy and I had to have all of it! I turned all that paper and vellum into these 6 cards and will be teaching this card class at Treasured Memories on Monday, July 28 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. You can see all the class details here.

Creative Time

This past Saturday I had a scrapbooking date with my girlfriend Karen, we didn't get a lot accomplished but the girl time was pretty fabulous. I woke up on Sunday and kept on creating. It was all kinds of wonderful! In total I completed 7 layouts- which as of late is a record amount for me.

I created these layouts using the February month kit: Free Hugs from Treasures Memories. I love these two pattern papers but often find it difficult to work with papers like these two. I never want to cover the image or cut it up but I think I find a happy medium here with these pages.

The heart background is cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

Christmas Magic: Card Class

As you can tell by all my class posts I am deep into the Christmas creating! I will be teaching this card class on Saturday, October 26 from 10am - 12:30pm. There will also be take home kits that contain the class contents, photos & instructions. All the details can be found here.

Halloween Love

I finally scrapbooked... for myself and it was wonderful! Honestly I felt a little awkward at first but quickly got over that. We are getting so much new product at the store and Halloween product is always one of my favourites!
