Christmas Mini Book Workshop

I am teaching my yearly Christmas Mini Book workshop this Saturday, November 29 from 10:00am - 2:30pm at Treasured Memories. I think this might be my favorite one yet. It was a process getting it created this year and I really had to dig for the creativity but it came out wonderfully. I can't lie, designing Christmas cards when it's +30 outside can be a bit tricky but fortunately for me I was completely inspired by these beautiful papers from Fab Scraps. I can hardly believe that it's that time again! I have all my Christmas classes scheduled at the store and all my papers ordered. It is going to be super exciting! The papers coming in are all so gorgeous, I definitely had a hard time choosing. 

Come hang out with me on Saturday, September 6 and get a head start on your cards for the holiday season... it's approaching much faster than we all would like to admit. Can't wait to see!

Make a Wish: New Card Class

Have I mentioned how much I love gold before? Maybe just once, so here it is again... I Freakin' LOVE gold? Have I mentioned how much I love My Mind's Eye? Yup, probably a thousand times. What's one more? I Freakin' LOVE MME! I fee like they "get me"! Gold foil on paper and vellum = dreamy and I had to have all of it! I turned all that paper and vellum into these 6 cards and will be teaching this card class at Treasured Memories on Monday, July 28 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. You can see all the class details here.

When I saw this paper from Kaiser Craft I had to have it. It was perfect for a masculine book, just in time for Father's Day. I created this book with my usual style but mixed in a lot of techniques that I usually don't do. I am pretty excited about this! You can check out all the class details here.

My Happy Place: File Folder Album

 No layout today, I didn't scrapbook this weekend. Instead I was being brave riding roller coasters & walking on glass floors as the cars below me looked like ants. I cuddled up in a kind sized bed with a new book, listening to Frozen play in the background as Anna watched it for the millionth time. I went shopping at outlet stores and dreamt of the mountains as I watched them in the distance.

Today I am sharing another class I will be teaching at Treasured Memories on May 31. I have always wanted to create a file folder album, curious how it would turn out and well... I love it.
