Holiday- part 3

Our last morning in Waterton.

I love all the colors of the rocks- nature is a wonderful thing.

It always amazes me how yellow the fields get. 

The contrast of yellow, green and blue- talk about beautiful.

A cattle drive, ranchers, manly cowboys, horses- awesome!

At the base of these falls is where Cory asked me to marry him.

Wachter holiday- part two

Each morning we went and sat on this patio with the 

sun shining on us and would have the most delicious 

breakfast and the hugest cup of coffee. 

Bliss.

We would walk by this bear carving a few times a day and each time Anna 

would hug and kiss him. As we left she would call "bye-bye"

back to the bear until we couldn't see him anymore.

 Adorable.

We rented a surrey one day and drove around the town.

 We learnt two things, it is wicked hard to steer and we are both totally out of shape. 

Fun though and lots of laughs for sure! 

Anna really had it made!

Cory treated me to a hot jade stone massage at the spa.

our first family holiday: part one

This year we packed up the car with everything but the kitchen sink and headed off on our holiday. It was our first holiday as a family an when I got in the car to drive off I got all choked up and sentimental. It was a much needed break for us all and a real blessing to be able to go and do all the things we love.

We stayed in Wateron for three days, Banff for 3 days and then Calgary for 1 day. It was a long week but we packed in as much fun and relaxing as possible. Here are photos from the start of our holiday.

I love doughnuts and when I heard about this place I knew it would 

be one of our first stops! I was not disappointed. You can check them out here.

 After dinner we got ice cream and walked down to the lake, it is beautiful there!

 Anna & Cory were in rock heaven!

 from all the places that Cory & I visit.

Waterton is truly one of my favorite places, 

it is beautiful and so very peaceful!
