Rock Painting Party

I wish I could capture Anna's "Wow, we get to do that!" excited face. It is truly a wonderful thing. I got that face when I suggested we paint the rocks we collected from Gramma & Papa's. She ran inside, spun in a circle looking to see if I was close behind her, she ran into my office and started rummaging for the paints. She kept reminding me to not forget the brushes. Her enthusiasm is beautiful!

This was a perfect activity for us both. We both painted and we both had fun!
The best part? Anyone can do this. You need rocks, paint, brushes and Sharpies if you want designs on them after they dry. Anna's personal favourite-  the Ladybug rocks.

We put them throughout the yard and they make me so happy!!!

I love painting rocks. And this is a craft that Dude will participate in as well! So it's a win-win for all!!

I have been using my rocks to mark where I planted my seeds. They look much prettier than the row upon row of plain dirt. Those plants better sprout soon!
