staff month kit

The weekend here was lovely! The sun was shining, we went for walks, chased a ball in the backyard, played at the park, went thrifting, read in the sunshine, BBQ'd and ate dinner outside. It really was wonderful. It could have only been made better if Cory had Sunday off from his part time gig at Cabellas. He will soon be getting rid of that Sunday shift and it couldn't come by fast enough for me. I miss having our weekends together, it seems like forever ago.

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and that spring has sprung where ever you are!

Each month at Treasured Memories we are given a staff kit with product that they want to feature in the store. This month I got some of the new Crate Paper product to play with. These papers are fabulous, the colors are bright and the patterns are right up my alley.

Here are two of the 3 layouts I created with my kit. I really like how they turned out or maybe I really like my subject matter?

I punched butterflies out with my new Jenni Bowlin punch, cut them in half and added as an edge detail. 

Mix up your upper and lower case, it creates dimension and helps your letters go further.

I am hoping to have some project life to share with you this week, I hate to get too behind. If you're reading this and you're an Albertan- go out and vote today!!! It's kinda a big deal....
