looking back
This is the first layout I've done of her birth. I cried as I journaled, remembering how helpless I felt, how panic raced through me, how I frantically asked the doctors & nurses a million questions. I look at this photo and it hurts my heart but also reminds me to be so very grateful that she is healthy and happy.

I felt the same way after Lucas was born. He spent almost a week in the hospital. I never scrapbooked those moments, but I did keep a journal.
