My weekend in pictures, it was wonderful! We woke up early on Saturday and headed to the market to buy our veggies and some of our plants to pot. They always have the best herbs and tomato plants there, then we headed to Home Depot to but the rest. It was great to spend the day out side planting. I can't wait to have a house someday so I can have a garden, ideally I would love to live on an acreage, why you ask? Because I want a chicken as a pet... random I know! Seriously though, how great would it be to walk around your garden with a chicken following you, ooh... or even a pot bellied pig! That seriously would be a dream come true! Things you didn't know about me :-)
After all the planting was done we packed up lunch and headed to the River Valley for a picnic! Such an amazing day!

Re: chickens, they are thinking about having residential chicken coops in Edmonton. google it and find out! you can have your very own chickens.
Hey you might be able to have a hen soon, the city is considering allowing them! That way you can have fresh eggs daily... how cool is that?!
my whole family made fun of me when I said I wanted a chicken. Playschool has three chicks right now (at last count)...maybe I can snag them when school is done!!
