More rain...

I love a rainy day, I appreciate a rainy day but I'm done with rainy days. Never mind the rain, snow 3 days before June! Bletch! The weather did come in handy in keeping me inside to work on a few DIY's. I want new furniture. I can not afford new furniture. So what's the next best thing? Slip covers, accessories and a fresh coat of paint. Kara introduced me to my current obsession- WhiteBerry Re-Invented! You must check it out, I now follow her blog and am in love with what she does with old pieces of furniture. So I decided to try it out, this is our living room right now. When these two pieces are finished I'll share before & afters.


Cory & I spent a big chunk of Sunday at Home Depot and the Antique Market, here are a few of my favorite finds from our hunting.

This cream can was $15! I have been looking for one for quite some time but they're always too expensive so this find was exciting! I love the blue but am not too crazy about the flower so we'll see if I decide on a makeover.

I love this table and am thinking a WhiteBerry inspired makeover is on order.

How cute is this! I saw it, loved it, wanted it, decided I didn't need it and then couldn't stop thinking it belonged in my kitchen. So 3 days later it came home with me.

I jumbo shout out to my fantastic husband- he was in a MMA tournament on Saturday and won gold medals in both his fights! Woot! Woot!

Tomorrow is a huge huge huge day here, Cory & I go for our big ultrasound! We are so freakin' excited!!!! I have been counting the sleeps for about a week now! So until then, have a fantastic day and I'll be back tomorrow.
