I am currently suffering from hair envy! It happens to be my own hair! I chopped my hair off in November after much debating. In the end I wanted a change and hair grows back. Well that's where I'm at, growing it back. It's been a couple months and I am at that stage, you know the stage if you've ever grown out your hair. The one where you hate how it looks, the one where when you look back at old photos with your long, flowing hair and think "WHY did I do that!" Don't get me wrong I loved my hair short like in the second photo but I'm ready to have it all back. So here I am on the looong road back to long hair. So if you have any styling tips, tricks from growing out your own hair please share them with me. I went out and bought a headband but it squishes my brain, well it sure feels like that! The headband was a bust! Anywho, thank goodness for my blog cuz Cory is sick of listening to me whine! LOL!

I'm on the same road as you. I've been to a few hair dressers now and I haven't liked how they cut my hair short (or my color!) so I figured it is time to try something new. I'm just waiting until it grows out a bit more before I go back in to get it cut to get rid of some of the layers. I don't really have any suggestions but maybe try some noe bobby pin clip things to pull parts of your hair back for a different look?
How about scarves...tie them under or to the side of under-shouldn't 'squish' your head;)
Another thought is try flipping the ends up - usually makes it look flirty and a bit longer:) ...at least that's what I found when my little girl was in your position.
Everytime I think I might want to grow my hair out again to try all the cool styles out there (braids! YES!!) I remember what a pain in the arse having long hair was...
And all the extra time it took to style, and all the brushing, and the long strands left around the house and on my clothes...
And I thank my lucky stars I have short hair!
So I guess what I'm saying is, I can't help ya! Sorry dear!!
Also, I think you're the only person in the world who wears a cute jean skirt and strapless shirt to garden! how adorable!!
