Yum

I found my inner Martha Stewart this past weekend. I made buns... and they actually worked! I always try but they never rise and so I'm left with hard, dense balls. Cory says he likes them but I think he's just being nice. This time we had success! So so yummy right out of the oven with a big dollop of butter. I also made a big pot of chili and while that was cooking I whipped up a Bumble Berry cobbler... with homemade whip cream. No wonder my pants were tight on Sunday!
I made this layout using a sketch from the MME blog, I think it is so pretty. I am such a huge fan of my new butterfly punch! I started other layouts, for Twisted Sketches and for Riff Raff but nothing had a happy ending. Boo.

I did however start and finish this canvas. I have been playing around lately with canvas and new techniques and am liking how they are coming to life. I am always so inspired by the art work that Lisa makes and am a huge fan of Donna Downey and Kelly Rae Roberts (who I discovered through Lisa- thank you!). I thought, I can do that! Can't I? So I gave it a whirl!

I have a class at Treasured Memories on March 6 for this Explosion Photo box, last I heard there was only 3 spots left. Get all the details here.
I was asked to create a class for a local women's church group and I teach that class tonight. Should be a lot of fun! Otherwise I am still trying to finish up a couple of classes and those layouts I mentioned earlier. Have a wonderful Monday!

making bread from scratch is on my "30 Before 30" list...you'll have to give me your recipe!

and I have totally been humming and hawwing over getting the Martha butterfly punch. There is one left at the store. I think I have made my decision and will be calling them shortly to have it "put on hold"
