Sharing

Hello Friends! The yard sale on Saturday was a success! I didn't know what to expect as I had never had one before and have only been to one! Wowzers! I know! I couldn't believe how much stuff I had that I didn't need or have use for! Every time I opened a closet or drawer I found something to sell! It felt so very good to get rid of all that stuff! I honestly could have another one this weekend, that's how much stuff I have collected! Geez Louise!
I am excited to share with you my first DIY, my first DIY success that is! Now to finish the rest of the bedroom furniture! sigh...
Here is the before of the bedside drawers...

And here is the after...
Also wanted to share my fabuluos new headband from The Wish List on Whyte Ave (one of my absolute fave stores on the Ave).

I am currently taking an e-course with Kelly Rae Roberts: Flying Lessons. Here is a little blurb from her description of the course. What I’ve learned in the last few years is that we can propel ourselves into living our dreams with successful creative businesses with two must haves: inspiration + tips. And that’s exactly what Flying Lessons is all about. Inspiration comes from sharing the stories of our creative journeys so that we can begin to dismantle all the misconceptions of what the creative life looks like. It means getting our hearts engaged in the business side of what we do. It means connecting to, and acknowledging, all the layers of our creative lives – our joys, successes, and downfalls. I am really enjoying it and finding it very inspiring. I'm jotting down tons of ideas and goals and feeling very encouraged. I've been listening or I should say paying attention to my inner voices, the ones that tell me to dream bigger. My first move forward was to stop posting on Delite Designs, to end that blog, you can read my goodbye post here.

I'm feeling so great today, so grateful today and so encouraged today!
Happy Monday!
xoxo

I love Kelly Rae Roberts...she is one of my favourite artists!

And I love your DIY! I bought a (slightly) used MALM dresser on Saturday and I love it! But yours looks so perfect with the little glass knobs, I might have to make an additional trip to the hardware store!
