Remember our chalkboard wall?
I turned the top half into a calendar and it is pretty fabulous. I borrowed a yard stick from a friend (although I was just going to use my level), decided on a 35" wide x 26" tall calendar. My squares are 5" a piece and are the prefect size for little notes, I do wish I could get "sharper" chalk to get a finer line.The chalk just washed off with a wet cloth so when I switch it to October I will just take a wipe and clean off the numbers and notes instead of everything. One thing that I will promptly be changing is the order of the days of the week. I started with Monday, bad idea- I have been messed up since I made this. I will be starting October's with Sunday.
Want a chalk board wall? Do it... it's just paint. If you hate it... paint over it again. Although I bet you won't hate it.
