Project Life Week 5

Welcome to week 5 & Hello February! I struggled a bit this week, struggled with just about everything it seemed. I had trouble keeping up my notes for this (like I didn't keep any), had a rough few days with Anna which left me in tears at the end of them and I ended up getting sick for 3 days to top it all off. By Saturday I was better and ready for a break (as was Cory who also got sick with some nasty bug). We headed out Saturday morning to Stettler for my brother's 30th birthday. Cory & I drove back to the city that night while Anna stayed in Stettler and had a sleepover with Gramma. A little time to try and catch up. I wasn't really into putting together this week at first but once I got going it all sorted itself out and I was excited to get the pages done so I could go through and look at my week.

Here is a look at my week 5 for Project Life:

Page 1:
-  I put in a card from the yoga studio I go to. I go to the 6:30am class before Cory has to go to work, it's the only time that really works for our schedule so I make it work. It's early but once I'm there sweating it out I feel great.
-  I also included a peice of the packaging from some My Mind's Eye product I bought on Thursday when it came into Treasured Memories. I love MME and pretty much bought it all. I was a good girl and saved my money for this release because I knew it was going to be fabulous... I was not disappointed

Anna's craft from Mumbo Jumbo
- she made a clown puppet
- I trimmed down a 12x12 page protector, added a strip of ribbon and sewed it up creating a ruffle with the ribbon as I went.  I remember seeing Ali Edwards do something like this in her December Daily and thought it would add a little "flare" to my book. I found making the ruffle harder than I expected but in the end I love it!
- I had someone ask 2 weeks ago what kind of sewing machine I use- I use a regular sewing machine and a straight stitch with a quarter inch seam.

Pictures and Words from Mumbo Jumbo
- I used a collector card page protector (from Dollarama) here for these photos and journaling. The photo size for these page protectors is 2.5 x 3.5.

- This page is February 4, my brother's birthday. He turned the big 30! Happy Birthday Michael! It was also one of my dearest friends birthday's- Happy Birthday Sweet Annie!
- Anna had on her prettiest party dress with a fabulous pink tutu. She was adorable!
- My nephew Brayden really couldn't be any cuter. He has the most wonderful smile and the most beautiful blue eyes! I'm a big fan!

The favorite Anna thing for week 5 comes from Cory. I wanted to include his voice in here and this week's favorite moment is pretty special to him. She is most definitely a daddy's girl and she knows full well at 14.5 months that she has him wrapped around her little finger! He is in trouble! tee hee.

Thanks for stopping by & looking and thank you so much for all the sweet comments I have been getting on this project. They warm my heart!
Hugs!
