Hello Monday

I had this past weekend all to myself & despite my reservations found it quite enjoyable. Cory left Friday afternoon on a fishing trip and thus began a very productive 3 days for Nadine. I mentioned a few posts ago that I was going to teach myself to sew and make a quilt.... well I did it this weekend! I read the machine manual, called my mom & grandma & watched many You Tube videos for lessons, tips & tricks- God Bless You Tube! I have to finish the binding and then I'll share pictures! I am seriously so proud of myself, I keep looking at it and can't even believe I did all that! Can't wait to share!
I also started painting the baby's crib, ran out of paint or it would be done too! Then I was off to a party on Sunday- it was this fabulous little girl's 1st Birthday Party! She's so great! Happy Birthday Sweet Leah!


This was my Great Grandma's mirror that I refinished last week. I love how it turned out! I think my mom's heart may have stopped when I told her I refinished this old mirror..... I made it way better mom!

Also wanted to share the last two layouts I did for Twisted Sketches...

Oh and.... Here is the July kit I made for Treasured Memories, so pretty. I'll share the 9 layouts I made with it later this week so I don't bombard you today with my work. There are a few kits left at the store if you want to have your very own ;-)
