Fun Mail

One of my mini goals for the year is to send out "fun mail" each month. It can be anything- art, stationary, handmade crafts or scrapbooking goodies, a letter- you get the idea. I have to do it at least once but can send more if I wish, I wanted this to be NO pressure and it has to be to a different person for the 'at least once' part. I have so many people that I am grateful for and whom does not love to get fun mail, I know I love it! In fact I received a lovely card in the mail the other day addressed Sweet Nadine. The instant I saw that and recognized the handwriting I was smiling, then I opened it, read the card and was full of warm fuzzies for the rest of the day. I put that card on my fridge and smile every time I pass by it! Seriously makes my day! Gratitude is a wonderful thing!
The above photo is a sneak peek of a painting I did for my first fun mail, it is on it's way to a lovely friend and as soon as I know she has it I'll post the whole thing! I started it a couple weeks ago so I had time to get it done (it really is not easy to paint with Anna on my lap) and I managed to stick to my mini goal for January!  I know who February's is going to but still need to dream up the goodie.
It is super cold here today and I am all bundled up with Anna. On the agenda today- we're making some banana bread and roasting a chicken, I'm working on making the house roasty toasty! Have a warm wonderful Monday Friends!
