Good Times

Last night was the Christmas get together for all the gals at Treasured Memories. It was a lot fun and I actually got some stuff done... for myself! Whoo Hoo Nadine. I have become very close to Chantel & KC in the last four months and am always overwhelmed with their generosity. I now see that they come by it honestly as their mom Laurie is equally as fabulous (wait till you see my new scarf- which I haven't taken off). Thank you ladies for having me be part of your team, it truly means the world to me. {xo}

This next picture is of Cory's and mine attempt at making a Gingerbread House. We QUIT! Stupid thing fell apart in like 15 minutes, just like last year! We took an oath to never attempt one again! Grrr.

Last Tuesday I went to a potluck at Treasured Memories, organized by the Tuesday regulars (hello ladies) and enjoyed some very yummy eats!

Chantel is very excited about her punch.

I went and hung out with Jenice & Leah on Friday. It is amazing how much she changes every time I go to see her. I gave her books for Christmas and she thinks they taste awesome! She is so freakin' cute!

This will be my last post until after the holidays, which start for me on Wednesday. 2 more sleeps... yeah! I love good food and presents but I of course have a few (like 20) things that need to be completed so I'm off to do some holiday baking.

California bound...

YEAH! I booked & paid for my flight & room yesterday and I am off to California at the end of January. I get to attend CHA in Anaheim, to look around, meet new people & take some awesome classes. I couldn't be more jacked!!! I get this amazing opportunity thanks to Chantel & KC at Treasured Memories. However... Gordon is really the reason I get to go- I'm sorry you couldn't go Gordon but it really worked out for me. They had an extra pass and weren't using it so they offered it to me. Truly a once in a blue moon opportunity. I am so grateful- thank you so much girls!

Good Friends

Annie and her family were down this past weekend. We did crafts, made cookies and had dinner at Carrie's- such great girl time.

Brrrr..........

I have been busy, or I think I have. If someone were to ask me what I've been up to for the last eight days I'd probably stare at them and think "I dunno". I can tell you this though... winter=bletch!!! We were hit with a horrible blast of icy winter and I find myself wearing 2 shirts, a hoodie, a sweater, a scarf and two pairs of socks! Grumble, grumble!

Saturday night was Cory's Christmas party, it was nice to see a few friendly faces. Here we are...

This weekend my girl Annie and her family fly to Edmonton for some early holiday festivities. I CAN NOT wait!

Happy December 1st!

Today is the day Cory & I out up our tree and decorate our place.... we call it Christmas Decoration Celebration... 2009. We get a little excited for this day! Today is also the first day of the 12 Days of Christmas over at Delite Designs and my first project is AwEsOme!! I made a wreath and love how it turned out, definitely go check it out. I'll be putting up a new project every day for 12 days and there will be goodies to give away! I love this time of year!
Yesterday we went to see New Moon.... not a fan! Don't get me wrong, I have a mad crush on Jacob and can't help get all flustered whenever I see him without his shirt on! I am not a fan of Edward this time around, Jacob was more of man, he's the big protective man who looks you in the eye when he talks to you..... sigh. I realize it's a movie.... for teenage girls but still a 31 can totally get wrapped up in all the whoopla.... right?? Anyways, the movie was long and a little drawn out for me.... good thing Jacob has his shirt off for a big chunk of the movie. hee hee.
