What's New Pussy Cat.....
Hello Friends! Here's a random post of recent pictures as I know how we all love looking at new pics!
I couldn't resist making Hannah a new bed... only problem is that I have to put her new bed on our bed if I want her to sleep in it. (shrug)
Random picture of me hanging out at work, not bad Cory.
I gave Cory a "love" tattoo! It totally rocks! Ha Ha Ha!

I colored my hair and I needed to take a picture of it.... It lasted about a week and now I'm in the process of getting it back to blond. (I get bored fairly quickly)

Now onto the latest and greatest. I have been ridiculously busy making demos for all the classes that I will be teaching over the next few months. As they go live at their respective locations I will post pictures of them for your viewing pleasure. I also made a few demos for Riff Raff to take to CHA which I totally forgot to take to Ben when I said I would! In fact I forgot all together and had to be reminded by Kara, I felt like a total douche bag and must have apologized 100 times! Forgetting is not me, I never forget but over the last few weeks I can barley remember my own name! I've decided until I come out of this little phase I'm in I will rely heavily on TO DO lists! So far so good. I should mention that I did make it over to Kara & Ben's to drop off my demos before they flew out to Anaheim and I have been forgiven! They have a super cute condo, minus the tornado called Kara that blew through there trying to pack her outfits for the show! (XOXO Kara)

I hung out at Treasured Memories 2 weekends ago on both Friday and Saturday. Chantel so very kindly invited me to her staff Christmas crop- thanks again! Then again on Saturday with Veronica and both the Lisa's, as usual I didn't get much done. In fact Friday was pretty much a write off as we talked fashion and style all night! Anam has a fabby new camera lens that takes these pictures... (thanks for emailing these to us Anam!)

I got to hang out this past weekend with this fabulous Girl! We headed out to Yiannis for delicious Greek food and a ho' lotta red wine. I often don't see her for weeks at a time which is such a shame but it is always so wonderful to hang out with her. Love you Carrie!!!
Cory and I went to Stomp this weekend and it was great! This was my third time going but it was still as good as the first time I saw it! On Sunday I drove to Camrose to have lunch with my wonderful mother! She brings me my papers to file my income taxes and brings Cory freshly baked peanut butter cookies.... Huh???? Does anyone else see the injustice here?
Kara lent me this book, I started it and then went out to buy my own copy. I couldn't put it down and couldn't bare giving it back, I think it's that good! It's all about fashion and style and is a really great read! Now a few out there may be sceptics but she is really quite wonderful! I'm a big fan, always have been... even back in her Posh Spice days! {I heart Victoria Beckham} .... not to mention her husband is fairly delightful!
*if a certain fashionista I know who celebrates her birthday in April reads this and thinks "I should get that book" please don't go out and buy this book....

A new avenue for me and another Riff Raff sneak peek.
I have never made a canvas before but am constantly inspired by this girl! She's a wonderful artist and she has made me want to try something new. I didn't do anything crazy or difficult just something simple but I LOVE it! I'll post the finished canvas after CHA.
Nite Nite.

Hello 2009
The New Year is here and I have a very good feeling about 2009. This is the time of year that we make those resolutions, some we hang onto, some are forgotten by the time February rolls around. I choose this time of year to reflect on what I would have done differently and what I am going to do to "grow". Grow as a woman, grow as a wife, grow as a friend, grow as a creative person, grow spiritually, grow as a working woman, grow mentally- I could go on. I don't usually set resolutions, this year I will be sitting down and going over my goals for this year and for my future. Going over my goals, my values and my dreams. Where do I want to be?
I bought a book for myself and Cory this Christmas- 5: Where will you be five years from today? It is published by Compendium, I found it at Starbucks and now I can not find it anywhere but it is hands down the best book I have ever got my hands on! In it it asks you what your personal mission statement is and I have really been thinking about this one. Walt Disney's: My mission in life is to make people happy. Eric Schmidt, CEO, Google: My mission is to collect all the world's information and make it accessible to everyone. Now those are big shoes to fill but they did just what they set out to do which is exactly what I want, to create a mission statement and bring it to life. What is your mission statement?
Every New Year for the last 3 years I have chosen a word to be my word for the year. The word that I focus on and try to live by. I started this after I read about it on Ali Edwards' blog, one little word can be incredibly powerful, check her post out here. My word for this year is commit. Commit to all the goals, values and dreams that I want for myself. I often struggle with commitment, sometimes it's a scary thing. Not anymore!
I see great things for 2009! Happy New Year Friends!
