I haven't blogged in so long and I had a few things to share so here they all are! It is the last day of August and I can not even believe it! We didn't have a summer and I'm blaming it on the wedding plans! Only 28 days to go... Eeeeeee! I can not wait to marry Cory and spend the rest of my life loving him! He is so good to me and I think I'm truly blessed to have met him, he tells me it's the other way around but I'm not convinced!
With the wedding comes 2 weeks off work and I might be just as excited about that!!!
I've been on the computer for over 2 hour so I should get on with the rest of my day, have a wonderful long weekend friends!!

Wedding Makeup!

I went for my consult to see what I should do for makeup on the wedding day. I had too much foundation for myself but I thought it looked awesome. Kassie (my new friend & makeup artist) put fake eyelashes on me and I was sold. They were so glamorous! At first I thought it was a bit much but then I figured if there was one day that you could get away with being completely glamorous your wedding day was it! So I'm doin' it!!! Yeah! Fantasyland Date Night

Our neighbor gave us a gift certificate for a room at the Fantasyland Hotel, very sweet and even more wonderful because I would never pay $300 for a room! HOLY CRAP! By the boat.

My Bridal Shower

I had my bridal shower last Sunday and was completely overwhelmed by how wonderful everyone was to me. I had about 30 people come- wow! My Auntie Dennise hosted it at her shower- she's pretty great for doing that! And let me tell you friends I hit the mother load... I was tired from gift opening! Also, as much as I love being the center of attention it was a little nerve racking! Thank you to everyone for being so wonderful and such great friends!

Hello! 10 days? Has it really been 10 days since I was here last? I can not believe how fast the summer is flying by! I keep waiting for it to come or maybe it's that I'm waiting to do something fun and then before I know it the leaves will have turned and you all know what happens after that..... not snow silly, I'm getting married. Hee hee. The past few weeks have been a whirl wind and when asked what I've been up to I either say "nothing" or "I'm not really sure", my head is swirling with wedding jazz, speeches, music, projects for Delite Designs, Christmas projects, ahhhhhhhh! I get dizzy even writing it down! No wonder I need a nap every day!
Anywhoodle, here are my layouts for Riff Raff's August release, I am a mega fan of the first 2 and my So You Think You Can Dance inspired "Hot Tamale" layout- I think they rock! I got September's release yesterday and already have a couple favs! Can't wait to use them!

Happy Holiday Monday for us Canadians!!! I wanted to give a shout out to the girlies at Treasures Memories who had their TV debut this morning on Global! I admit I only saw the last two segments with Talia and Jill but you girls rocked it. Congratulations to Chantel and her crew!

Just a little info...

If you're like me (and I know a few who are) you follow your favorite scrapbooking designers lives. Not because you're a stalker or you think you know them but because they seem like genuinely wonderful people. Exciting news for my all time fave- Ali Edwards- she's preggo! Congratulations! If you're a fan of Donna Downey (even if you're not) head over to her blog and check out how great she looks! She has been on Nutri System since January 1 and has lost over 50 pounds! She looks great! Congrats to her too!
