Dear Friends:

While I listed a few people below that have reached out to me in the last week or so I'd also like to give a shout out to all the people in my life that make it a better place and to those of you that inspire me creativly and personally. Don't think I forgot about you cuz I didn't, wink! I am so grateful for your friendship and your support, perhaps I should tell people more often how great I think they are. It's nice to hear some times! So if you're listening- YOU ROCK! To throw out a few names.......... Jenice, Jules, Anam, Amanda (who I drive crazy at work), Jilly, Jayme (who I get to see right away- yeah) and last but not least my wonderful parents. Where does all the time go?

Hello Friends! In 3 days it will be June 1 and if anyone can find May for me I would really appreciate it. My girlfriend Carrie got married on May 17, she was gorgeous and the weather was incredible! The wedding brought Annie and Naya to Edmonton from Nelson for 2 weeks! It was so great to see them and as usual I did the ugly cry after they left (I try to hold it in as long as possible). They will be back in September for my wedding- which is really just around the corner.... augh! I have been trying to find some sort of inspiration to scrapbook but I haven't done much. I am working on a class for Treasured Memories right now and I have to say- I'm lovin' it! Yeah for being able to go back and teach there- thanks Chantel! I am SUPER excited... and a little nervous at the same time! I'll post more details when I'm done. I am also working on my June class for Delite Designs and am trying to plan more for June. I am taking a class at Big Picture Scrapbooking by Kolette Hall called "The Art of Becoming More", lets be honest they're on week 4 and I'm on one but I am taking it none the less! I took her class "Choosing Joy" and was blown away by how FREAKIN' AMAZING she is. If anyone needs to sort things out in their life or discover how wonderful they really are (because admit it, you think you're just mediocre but I'm here to tell you that you're wicked) this is the woman to help you do it! Her voice makes me warm inside and her stories bring me to tears every time! LOVE HER! Trust me, it is worth every penny!

I am incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life that I just need to give a shout out to a few of them...
Lisa K- I LOVE my canvas, I have to touch it every time I walk by it! Thank you so much!
Veronica- thanks for the goodies from Vegas! Veronica also has a new boyfriend that she has been keeping a secret.... yeah V!
Chantel- for letting me teach and for always taking care of me when I'm in the store... and for the Starbucks!
Kara & Ben- for letting us Riff Raff girls ran-sack your shop while we threw elbows to get all the wicked Riff Raff shapes! Kara- for your warm assuring hugs, people would pay money for one of your hugs!
Annie- no words can express how much I love you. Thank you for your support and for never judging me!
Carrie- there is no one I'd rather read all the wedding magazines for than you. Love you!
Cory- for coping with my moods (and let me tell you people- there are many) and for doing what ever you need to to get things right, I'm yours for forever & a day!
Teresa- my Goodwill Girl, work just wouldn't be the same without you.
Naomi- for helping me with my invitations and volunteering your time to me! Thank you!

Creative Door Night Out

I went out for dinner last night to Vic's with the staff that was involved in the Home Show. The food there is SO GOOD!!! Here's the great gals I spend Monday to Friday with!

Post #2: Happy 80th Grandma

I spent Sunday driving to Boyle to have birthday lunch for my Grandma Wolansky! It was pretty great! They had a slide show of Grandma's life up until now and it was so fabulous to see all the old photos! I teared up a few times, especially when they had pictures of Grandpa Wolansky. It's hard to believe it's been so long since he past away! I can never get over how handsome he was- like he should have been in GQ. I miss him. Grandma Wolansky celebrates her 80th on May 12! This is her, my Grandpa Hocko (mom's dad) and I. I love this picture! I wish my Grandma Hocko was hanging around when we took it so she could have been in it too. My Grandpa is so cute I just want to squeeze him!

Post #1: Holy Layouts.....

Here are a boat load of layouts I've done over the last week or so! I did 5 on Saturday at Treasured Memories, one I entered in their contest so it's not here. 3 were for Riff Raff. The last one was also on Riff Raff but I did it for my challenge on Delite Designs- check it out! I didn't get as much done at NSD as I wanted to but I think I was a little "scrapped out"... is that allowed!

Happy National Scrapbook Day Friends!

Delite Designs first online class is up despite some major hang ups! I was up until 2am googling "how to download word docs and pdf's".... I wanted to pull my hair out! I accepted defeat, made some modifications and slunk into bed! So for all my computer savvy friends out there I beg of you- HELP! I need to figure out how to add a file (like an instruction sheet) to my blog so that people can download it and print it off! I will send gifts.......... please help! Other than that I love how it turned out and I am very excited to finally be doing this! Have a fabulous day!

How adorable!

I made these bags (well I ironed on the cupcake & skull) for myself and Veronica. Hey V! If you read this before tomorrow... surprise! Veronica was having a bad day and I decided to cheer her up and what doesn't cheer up a girl like a cute handmade gift, especially one with a cupcake on it! The bags and ironons are from Micheals, they're not very big but I couldn't resist! Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day and I am spending the ENTIRE day at Treasured Memories! I have been counting the sleeps until tomorrow, I keep phoning Chantel (the wicked awesome owner of TM) and giving her the count down. I'm sure she really appreciates that... like she really needs me to tell her! Anwhoo, one more sleep!
