Secrets

I have been "up to something" for the last while- for probably 4-5 months. It has been very time consuming and at times frustrating, but it is also very exciting for me! I haven't been blogging much, hanging out as much or keeping in touch and my secret is the reason.Until now I haven't spoken about it to anyone and it has been very hard to not tell my closest friends. I find myself lying to a few of you, which I do not like... just so you know! Thanks to those of you that gave up your address to me and didn't wonder if I was signing you up for junk mail! If I didn't ask for your address... don't worry, I already knew it! Hang in there, it's almost time........... hee hee!

Edson 2008 Crop Crazy

I spent the day in Edson teaching 2 classes at the second annual Crop Crazy put on by Creative Pages their LSS. I taught last year for Sharla (the owner of Creative Pages) and was very excited to be asked back. I even had people asking for me and despite my "bootcamp" approach to teaching I had quite a few people from last year in this years classes- which was super cool! I taught an acrylic album (which is the second photo) and a layout class. It is always so exciting seeing people get so happy over the projects that they have made. I sold out both classes and was told I could have done more... but I had to get back to the city. We're already discussing next year and me staying over and teaching 4 classes (duplicates). Yeah! I only wish the weather could have been nicer because the roads were terrible and my nerves are not designed for winter driving.... bless Cory's very patient and calming soul!

My new 12x12 paper racks

How excited am I to fill these up with paper... and I do have that much paper! I went to Treasured Memories on Thursday with my girlfriend Karen. The girls at the store have been moving around paper and getting rid of old racks, So we bought 2 sets. It was a steal and when a girl finds a good sale she shouldn't pass it up, aren't those the rules? The only problem was getting them home, Karen assured me that they would fit into her car.... NOPE! They most definitely did not fit! We call Cory who has a truck to come get me after his martial arts class but there is no answer. I assure Karen he finished as 9pm and he'll call me back. Well... the store closes @ 9pm so went out and sat in her car. An HOUR later.... no Cory! So we hide 2 racks in "the shadows" outside the store and drive one set back to my place. Come back at 150kms / hr to get to the racks faster and cheer that no one stole them..... NO ONE @ the bar down the way really wants our racks but still we were worried. We load the next set up and it feels like we're robbing the place so I was a touch uncomfortable and then who calls.... Cory! It's 11pm, I'm still not home and I get up @ 5am to go to the gym/work. Thanks Cory but we got the racks! Needless to say it was quite the night and was I ever tired in the morning, that was until I came around the corner and saw my new racks! I squealed and just about hugged them I was so excited all over again! Thanks again for the laughs Karen & thanks to TM for getting rid of those racks!

Where does all the time go?

*WARNING: really lame post*

Can it really be April or is it almost May? I feel so far behind that I'm in first place... LOL! A customer of mine always says that to me when I ask him how he is and I always think "nerd" in me head. I haven't had time to scrapbook (in fact I haven't done a page in over 2 weeks), stalk blogs or check out what's new and exciting in the world let alone have some me time! Man this working thing is really catching up to me!

I spent Saturday with Naomi and Veronica, we went out for lunch and then did a little shopping. I then, along with the FABULOUS Naomi designed my wedding invitation! They are beautiful!!! and no Veronica they won't be hard to assemble... cuz you WILL be volunteering your time to me. I have been getting class stuff ready for my Crop Crazy classes in Edson on this Saturday coming up. I haven't taught in a year and I'm a little nervous, "what if no one likes me?" always runs through my head. I'm sure I'll be fine! I have been meaning to do Cory's taxes but never seem to get around to it. And I've been wishing that the kids in my building get sent away to military school.... yup that's what I've been up to. Wow, I'm totally lame! I think perhaps I should write down some goals and some wishes so that I don't bore myself to death never mind you! I think a bubble bath might do the trick!

Happy Birthday Baby!

It's Cory's birthday today and he had a great day. He got 2 cakes from the guys at work and one from me at home (see below). I am all caked out, yes you heard me right, all caked out! We are spending the day together on Saturday for an entire day of birthday fun! I am so excited!
