December over? Really? Christmas done? Already? Here's a few pictures to finish off 2008 .

We went to the Nutcracker at the Jube. I got a few strange looks when I told Cory we were going to the ballet, he however quite enjoyed it. In fact we have tickets now to see Alice in Wonderland in March. The girls and I had a secret Santa at work, I got crazy carpets!! So awesome! It's nice to just be a kid again!

I got to get up close and personal with Santa at the Creative Door Christmas party. Doesn't St. Nick look familiar?
We had had dinner & drinks with Carrie and Darren, this was our first "couple" get together. Not sure why it had never happened before because it was a great time. I took pictures from my Grandma 3 years ago with the intentions of making a 50th wedding anniversary album, I finally decided that perhaps I should get on this project, so I went BIG! My Grandparents have 5 daughters so I made each one an album with pictures of my grandparents, them growing up and pictures of the us- the grand kids. Each album was 28 double sided pages! Crazy? Perhaps! Then I made a 9x9 for my grandparents with the same pictures, they were all a huge hit!!!
This is one of my top 5 favorite pictures! I bought Cory a PSP for Christmas and he had NO idea! I love his expression, my big kid! xoxo
What are you trying to say Cory?

Okay, maybe a little spoiled! I am so excited to start these!Salem with her stocking- so great!

My mom in her Mrs. Claus apron. She's so cute!

My family.

Hannah Banana hangin' under the tree.I spent three days curled up on the couch reading and watching movies. If you know me you know that I DO NOT do this. What have I been missing? It was so nice to just take these days and relax, something I desperately needed. I finished For One More Day and Tuesdays with Morrie both by Mitch Albom. Both fabulous reads but I insist that everyone read Tuesdays with Morrie, it is amazing, inspiring and truly made me open up my eyes and mind! I promise you will not be disappointed!

What I've Been Up To

Saturday was our staff Christmas party at the Edmonton Golf & Country Club. Good food, good company... too much vino tinto!!!
The ladies from my office.

My newest art & my 30th birthday present to myself. I've had it for almost a month and absolutley love it!

I look a little dopey eyed but this is us before we went out to Yiannis for dinner on Friday. Friday was our first date 2 years ago, a good number of people made fun that we celebate that... I chalk it up to the green eyed monster. Our first date was perfect and it was that day that felt like I had known him my whole life.

The flowers he had delivered to work.... so beautiful!

He also bought me a necklace, which was totally unexpected at this time of year! I'll be honest... I'm a little spoiled!

Our new Christmas tree! It's so huge and full compared to my Charlie Brown tree from years before. After Cory saw it last year he made me promise him that we could get a new one this year. How come he can't remember what I asked him to do yesterday but can remember what I "promised" a year ago???? I'm on to him!

Day 5 @ Delite and a First Date

These are a few of my favorite things around our apartment, check them out! Today also marks my first date with Cory 2 years ago. Two years ago today I had dinner with Cory and it was like I'd known him my whole life! Sometimes I think that perhaps I did, in another life. Soulmates. If you're reading this Cory-I love you, I love you, I love you!

The 12 days of Christmas

December first is here and so begins the 12 days of Christmas @ Delite Designs. Here's day one and one of my November projects for Riff Raff.

December first is an exciting time at our house because we're "allowed" to decorate for the holidays. I have a "thing" and I can't decorate until the first, I am super excited for tonight after work! It also means I can start filling up my December Daily album that I made. As for presents... I have a few gifts left to buy and a few left to make- I am much more organized that ever before, which is super exciting! I'm usually scrambling the day before I need to give the gifts! *pat on my back*
Have a wonderful day!!!
