Ick!

I am at home today because I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a truck. So here I am feeling guilty for missing work and feeling guilty because I'm not cleaning or organizing. Just can't win! I'm hoping I'll come around so I can at least enjoy an empty house and perhaps some scrapping.

Goodie Box Girls Night Out

I spent the night with Veronica @ Girls Night Out, the Goodie Boxes first event. I had a great time, made 2 fabulous projects, met Janet Hopkins, got to use Heidi Swapp's new Runway collection, got to see a handful of Kim and Talia's projects in real life, oh and we saw their kids who are as cute in person as they are on their blogs! Here are a few pictures from last night...

This is an album in a jar, the jars are from Ikea and this project was super easy! Gift ideas were quickly dibbed by Veronica. How stinkin' cute!!!!
So much fun, Kim and Talia really out did themselves! Congratulations to them!

Lisa's Challenge #3

As I was getting my stuff ready for Goodie Box event tonight (yeah) I decided to whip up the layout for Lisa's challenge #3. It was super fun, I don't think I've scrapped myself as a little girl, I was stinkin' cute ;-) I love this layout, not only did I get my challenge done SUPER early I used Riff Raff product! I would also like to point out the AM Jewelry Thickers- they rock!

I love the Sun

I have officially kicked Debbie the Downer to the curb! I had a great day! I spent the morning cleaning... there are few things I love more than clean laundry and a clean house! The afternoon was spent on Whyte Ave- which was crawling with people! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we can expect more of the same tomorrow!! I took a couple pictures of some favorite things of mine and wanted to share.

Spring tulips.... wonderful! Caramelo coffee from Second Cup.... I only make it on Saturdays and Sundays so it's extra special.

Well? How old would you be?

This question seems to follow me day in and day out lately. When asked of myself I answered firmly "Old". I'm in a mood lately and quite frankly I'd like to loose it in a dark alley somewhere but nope I just can't shake it! I realize we can't be sunshine and rainbows all the time but seriously, I don't want to be around me lately never mind my friends! So if you've been putting up with me lately.... Thank you! And if you haven't come across it yet... sorry for when you do! The worst part about it (well one of the worst parts) is that I want to scrapbook but lack any motivation or creativity.... and that is a serious drag! Well, now that I've brought you all down... thanks for listening to me, sometimes it helps to get it out.

My Temporary Scraproom!

For the next 2 months this is my space. I took 2 drawer towers and our glass coffee table top and created a desk in our bedroom. I don't mind it, the computer, printer and scrap table are in the same place. I'll never have to leave my room! Here's the 2 (yes, only 2) layouts I finished yesterday at V's birthday crop. The first one is for Lisa's challenge kit, thank you to Naomi who helped me finish it.

Happy Birthday Veronica!

I spent part of yesterday at Treasured Memories celebrating Veronica's birthday. Despite my "Debbie Downer" mood I had a great time, I always love spending time with these girls! I made treat bags with homemade chocolate chip/oatmeal & milk chocolate chip cookies and I made cupcakes with florescent pink icing- currently sick of baking! The rest of the day was spent creating a scrap space in our bed room and cleaning the apartment as my sister in law is staying with us for 2 months. Here's a few pics from yesterday...
